Acclaimed singer-songwriter Maddy Carty is back with her latest single, ‘Old Hands,’ a deeply evocative track that delves into the enduring nature of love as we age. Known for her poignant lyrics and expressive melodies, Carty once again captures the intricacies of human emotion, this time focusing on the uncertainties and hopes that come with a lifetime of love.

‘Old Hands’ explores a heartfelt dialogue, questioning whether love will stand the test of time and the inevitable physical changes that come with it. Maddy captures the essence of a long-term relationship's fears and hopes, delivered through her distinctive voice.

After reconnecting with Alex Bayly, a university friend and talented producer, Maddy found the perfect creative partner to bring her new project to life. Together, they have crafted a soulful and softly seasoned live sound that beautifully complements Maddy’s introspective songwriting. Their collaboration also resulted in the co-written track ‘Unseen,’ which will be featured on the upcoming EP.

Beyond her work on ‘Otherhood,’ Maddy Carty is an accomplished songwriter for other artists and producers, with credits spanning labels such as Warner, Spinnin’, and Mad Decent. Her music has also been featured by major networks like Sky and Netflix, underscoring her versatility and broad appeal.
